The Viin Cal satellites were a series of potent deep-scan radar sats capable of sweeping the space around Kharak's orbit for hundreds of millions of kilometres. They were the most important part of Kiith S'jet's Project Viin Cal, named after the ancient Kharakian god of hunters.[1]
Although they found little in Kharak's debris field, a satellite that had a flaw in its manoeuvring engines scanned Kharak's equatorial regions, accidentally rediscovering the lost city of Khar-Toba in 1106 KDS. The one who made the correction and discovery of the debris, Leykab Jaraci, would have his name bear the discovery, known as the Jaraci Object.
