The Vaygr Supercarrier (also known as the Agamemnon or Big Red or Abandon All Hope), was the concept for a Vaygr flagship that made it into existence in the Alpha build of Homeworld 2, and appears as a derelict in the final game.

Background

Vaygr Supercarrier derelict located in Karos Graveyard.

Vaygr Supercarrier was supposed to be the Vaygr command ship, however in the final game it was replaced with the Vaygr Flagship, and the Supercarrier model was modified to be a derelict located in the Karos Graveyard.

The ship has taken damage around the bridge, and part of the superstructure is separated from the main hull. A large yellow attachment is seen in the concept art and the paint-overs were also missing from the mid-section. The derelict was 9500 meters long, and still resembles the original design.

Trivia

• At nearly 10km long, the Supercarrier is the largest non-Progenitor ship in Homeworld. Second, only to the Progenitor Mothership.
