- "A deployable device that generates a disruption field, disabling weapons and reducing vision range in an area." — In game description
The Shroud-class Disruption Device is a static deployable device launched exclusively by Soban baserunners. They create a disruption field, reducing all vehicle's speed and sensor range, as well as disabling their weapons in its proximity.
Multiplayer[]
The targeting jammer disables all vehicle's weapons in its local range, both hostile and allied. The disruption field emits a very visible blue glow. It can be launched at a moderate range from the Soban baserunner. After being deployed, they will remain active indefinitely. They share a separate sixty second cooldown from the anti-air turret post, and replaces the Soban baserunners turret post.
Despite their usage on paper, it costs 150 CUs, and they are easily destroyed by hostile vehicles outside its disruption field, hence, they are scarcely used beyond a desperate defensive ploy against encroaching hostiles on the baserunner. Target jammers can affect any vehicle, except carriers and aircraft. They also provide no sensor coverage at all.
Trivia[]
- Targeting jammers have a turret icon in the sensor manager.
