Your Support Fleet is the spread of ships that fight or work alongside your Command Ship. They are divided into two types: Strike Craft and Escorts.
Strike Craft are smaller, cheaper vessels like Interceptors or Resource Collectors that each take a single slot of a Strike type. They are usually berthed in your Command Ship hanger but get launched during a mission. They can be re-docked to repair them instantly and then re-launched.
Fighters are faster and more nimble strike craft that can be extremely difficult for larger ships to hit and can have trouble damaging the Armor of larger ships and structures
Corvettes are slightly larger and slower than fighters. They tend to have more accurate weaponry and can effectively handle Fighters, but large ships have a better chance of hitting them so they are more prone to taking damage
Escorts are capital-class ships like Frigates, Destroyers and Resource Controllers that are tougher but more capable in combat or mining. They cannot dock with your Command Ship to repair, so be ready to escape from a mission before a valuable one gets destroyed. Frigates and Resource Controllers take 1 escort slot, Destroyers take 2.
In the Notes sections of the tables below where Effectiveness is mentioned, Strike Craft refers to everything below Escort size. Large Targets refer to any capital ship, large structure or stationary defense turret that is typically armored.
In the tables below, Grade represents the color-shown quality level of the ship as X/X/X, representing Grade 1 (darker blue), 2 (Cyan), 3 (Green). NA means Not Applicable, as some specialty event ships have not been witnessed in that Grade. All base stats are also shown in X/X/X format to match these Grades
