In-Game Description[]
High-damage, long-range, backline sniper.
Strong vs. large, slow-moving opponents.
Weak vs. Strikecraft, fast and single-target, damage-based opponents.
"Fatal"-class Frigates seem to be a dedicated, long-range bombardment vessel designed to operate far behind the point of contact in a battle, or in conjunction with close escorts to handle enemy Strikecraft attacks.

Analysis[]
The counterpart to the Hiigaran Torpedo Frigate. Compared to them the Fatal is slightly tougher, but has proven to have a very difficult time hitting Strike Craft and sometimes even Frigates that are moving fast enough perpendicular to their missile path. But beyond that these are very dangerous frigates that threaten even Destroyers and Battlecruisers.
Note, they have a rather evasive flight pattern. They will constantly try to keep at their maximum effective weapon range, so if their current target is flying towards them they will fly backwards to try and keep distance, potentially moving them away from the protection of the rest of your fleet. As an enemy, this is also one of their most dangerous aspects since they are typically faster than their intended targets, so without supplemental support from Strike Craft heavier ships are in severe danger from them.
In the War Games, its usefulness is rather limited given how few of these you will ever see (and therefore capture), and compared to other Frigates the Incarnate Fleet can build you would be better off choosing one more guaranteed to hit Strike Craft.
