- "There can be only one Sajuuk-Khar" — Makaan
Sajuuk-Khar, the Chosen One Of Sajuuk (or the Chosen of He Whose Hand Shapes What Is) was depicted in many ancient galactic prophecies as the being who would unite the Three Hyperspace Cores and bring Sajuuk back to the galaxy, thereby creating a reign of peace that would last 1,000 years.
During the Second Homeworld Era a Vaygr Lord named Makaan managed to unite the majority of the separated tribes of the Vaygr Reaches, as well as the Taiidan Imperialists. The Vaygr worshiped him as Sajuuk-Khar, the one who was going to lead them to conquest and salvation. Already in possession of one hyperspace core, Makaan plotted to take both the Bentusi's core and the Hiigaran's core, officially making him Sajuuk-Khar. Bent on conquest, the Vaygr stormed across the galaxy in an all-out war against anyone who stood against them. After a long and tedious battle for both sides, Makaan finally came face to face with Karan S'jet and the remaining cores inside the black hole cluster at Balcora. At the end of the day Makaan was dead and his powerful armada was defeated. The Hiigarans retrieved the last core and united all three inside Sajuuk, abandoning the Hiigaran Mothership. Karan S'jet, as leader of the Hiigaran navy, became the Sajuuk-Khar, consequently starting the Age of S'jet.
