A Galsieen Production Cruiser re-engineered by the Khaaneph. The Khaaneph Production Cruiser or more formally known as the Edge-class Support Capital Ship are the Khaaneph's primary production and repair vehicle.
Lore[]
Re-engineered from Galsieen designs, the Khaaneph variants of Production Ships boasts better engines which provides slightly higher top speed than their Galsieen counterparts, at the expanse of two less PDCs to accommodate for the larger engine space. Overall, the Edge-class' speed complements the nomadic nature of the Khaaneph and such sacrifices in point-defense is considered to be acceptable.
Multiplayer[]
Outside of its better speed and maneuverability but lower anti-air capabilities, the Khaaneph Production Cruisers function basically the same as their Galsieen counterparts; being essentially a mix between a Support Cruiser and a Command Carrier. The Khaaneph Production Cruisers are vitally important logistics vehicles for the Khaanephi people.
As a Production Cruiser, the Khaanephi landships are able to be used as storage for resources from Salvagers (after the Refinery Mode upgrade has been purchased).
Another unique trait are that Khaaneph Production Cruisers can generate an aura to increase the speed of nearby friendly units when power is shunted to speed increases from their carrier. This increases the efficiency of long-distance mining, and assists military units in hit and run roles.
