- "Increases fleet capacity by 15, to a maximum of 125. Deployed from the carrier. " — In game description
The Watchman-class Tower Deployable is a small and stationary logistics module that provides fleet supply. As fleet supply automatically increases permanently in-between levels in the singleplayer campaign, logistics modules are only featured in multiplayer, deployed by coalition carrier. Soban carriers deploy an upgraded armed logistics module, instead. Neither Gaalsien nor Khaaneph require such modules and simply research fleet supply upgrade technologies instead.
Multiplayer[]
Logistic modules are deployed by coalition carriers. They are launched into the air and upon landing, they assemble themselves, providing fleet supply and vision of the local area. Coalition carriers can launch them at fairly long ranges, and can be used to provide sensor coverage of areas that enemies may attempt to attack from.
Logistic modules provide 15 supply, up to a maximum of 125. More may be deployed once this limit is reached, and they can act as insurance to keep supply limits up should some others be destroyed. One logistic module will spawn adjacent to the carrier at the beginning of the game.
Logistic modules have no means of defence and when destroyed, will impede vehicle production when occupied supply exceeds available supply.
Deploying logistic modules has no cooldown, but one cannot be deployed while another has yet to assemble itself.
Trivia[]
- Destroying logistics modules gives no XP.
- Logistics modules have the same model as scanners deployed by the coalition baserunners.
- Logistics modules have no collision physics and can be deployed on top of each other.
