The Lander or sometimes known as the Carrier Aircraft is a type of gargantuan air vehicle designed and built by the Coalition of the Northern Kiithid and utilized during Operation Khadiim.
Overview[]
The Coalition Lander is a large airship used primarily by the Coalition for Space-to-Surface and Air-to-Surface transportation. These massive aircraft are almost as long as a Command Carrier with a wingspan three times its length. Due to its large size, the Lander could carry various cargo ranging from precious natural resources to a Baserunner.
Its biplane design is used to accommodate two large jet/rocket engines used for accelerating the airship into space if necessary. Despite its large size however, it is barely armed and is incredibly vulnerable to anti-air defenses (for example, Lander 607 barely survived a barrage and was forced to do a crash landing). Nevertheless, their large cargo space and fast speed makes them strategic during Operation Khadiim.
The exact autonomy of the Landers is unknown, but is limited, at least with them fully charged: In the last stages of Khadiim, they proved to be able to reach almost the deepest part of Great Banded Desert, with a total charge, but cannot carry enough fuel to return, even empty.
After the Carriers Kapisi and Sakala arrived deep south, to the Great Banded Desert, three more landers, one of Kiith Siidim and two more, were send to resupply them. As it was very far away, they were abandoned after landing, as they hadn't enough fuel to return. The 05B was destroyed in a betrayal of the Siidim.

Trivia[]
- It is the only identifiable vehicle in the entire Homeworld franchise to be an actual true airship.
