Duzumi Gate is the first mission in the Homeworld Mobile campaign. It is a tutorial mission in which the Task Force Ararat prepares to go though the Duzumi Gate...

Overview[]

This level serves as part 1 of the tutorial to familiarize players with game mechanics.

The tutorial starts with a cutscene shows that is this game is in 15th years into the Age of S'jet, where Makaan is dead at Balcora Gate. The Kiith of Hiigara decides to leave despite the pleas of Karan S'jet and travel to the Nimbus Galaxy.

This tutorial changed from Early Access to full release. In Early Access version, you start out at Duzumi Gate properly and not with it departing it straight away

Strategy[]

Early Access Version[]

Before you begin, you need to choose your Kiith, form the following: Hiigaran Navy, Kiith Kaalel, Kiith Manaan, Kiith Naabal, Kiith Paktu, Kiith S'jet, Kiith Soban and Kiith Somtaaw.

Then the player starts out with a Expedition Ship (Mobile) where Joanna Naabal tells the player how to control the camera, issue a move command (from the target roster) . Then a group of Target Drones appears and then another where you will use a missile barrage ability to destroy them. After that, you have been assigned a Light version of the Torpedo Frigate codenamed The Stewart and to attack a decommissioned assault frigate.

Once you have destroyed the frigate, you will be tasked to line up with the rest of the Task Force Ararat to hyperjump to the Nimbus Galaxy to continue on with the tutorial and begin your journey...

This ends part one of the tutorial

Full release version[]

In the full release version of the game Fleet Command orders that Task Force Ararat completes their final loading procedures Immediaty. They do this by loading a Progenitor Communicator to the Expedition ship and preparing the gate for activation and they hyperspace to the Nimbus Galaxy
