- "Rugged utility hovercraft." — In game description
The Gaalsien Baserunner (Coalition Intelligence Codename: B'tir-class Deep Desert Support Craft) is a support hovercraft designed and used by Kiith Gaalsien.
Lore[]
- "The Gaalsien version of the Baserunner is an advanced hover tech vehicle which manages to incorporate heavy armor into its design while maintaining effective battlefield speeds. The B'tir, named after the deep desert brood tunneler, maintains an augmented repair field which allows it to work on multiple vehicles within its range of influence instead of just repairing one unit at the time." — Expedition Guide
Campaign[]

Gaalsien baserunners are never observed in action in the campaign. It is impossible for the coalition to build them, as they can only be built by Gaalsien carriers, which in turn cannot be hacked by Rachel S'jet's Science Baserunner.
Multiplayer[]
Gaalsien baserunners are built only from the carrier. One is given for free at the start of each skirmish.
Gaalsien baserunners collect artifacts, scout and provide hull repairs. Although their basic role are the same, both coalition and Gaalsien baserunners have very different abilities and applications in combat. When it comes to collecting artifacts, they have possess the same speed, and speed penalty when carrying an artifact, however the Gaalsien baserunner is more manueverable with its hover engines, making it easier to collect artifacts located beside them.
Gaalsien baserunners are equipped with a single light anti-air autocannon, like their coalition variants, provides weak anti-air defence that only threatens coalition strike fighters or gaalsien interceptors. Gaalsien baserunners offer little resistance to any ground-based threats.
As soon as the game begins, Gaalsien baserunners can launch a scanner over a great distance. The scanners do not cost resources but do have a very long cooldown. Large numbers of Gaalsien baserunners can launch many scanners which can be useful for targeting distant enemy vehicles with long range units such as railguns.
Gaalsien baserunners features an area repair ability, that can repair any allied vehicle's hull, including allied coalition vehicles. This effect stacks, and large numbers of baserunners can rapidly repair a damaged cruisers or aircraft carrier. Gaalsien baserunners do not have a passive self repair ability, but their area repair ability can be used to repair themselves.
Overall, Gaalsien baserunners are ideal support vehicles, with effective abilities that do not consume resources unlike the coalition variant. Given that Gaalsien vehicles generally cost high amounts of RUs. Building additional baserunners to consume CUs and for their support abilities, in exchange for large numbers of sandskimmers is a viable strategy.
